Geometry and Architectural Representation Studio
About
Assignment Details (Individual): Shown are a series of assignments from my geometry and architectural representation course meant to explore extruding and exploding simple geometric form in space. At the beginning of the year, we created a base form by combining a few simple shapes extruded into a 10x10x10in box. Each assignment would deal with this base geometry, whether it was applying patterns to the faces, flattening each panel into a flat map of the form, or creating point and parallel shadows in 2D space. The largest 2 assignments of the course though were the creation of 3 laser cut Bristol paper forms. One is the main extruded shape, and the other two were cut isometric projections of that original geometry, leading to unique construction challenges. All design work was performed in Rhino.
